“Material things inside a house aren’t what makes it a home; the love, memories, and beautiful chaos are the heart within the walls. Interior design makes it shine.” - The Niche

I moved to Bergen County from Santa Barbara, California, in 2017 with my two daughters, who are now teenagers, when my now husband accepted a job offer in the area. When we arrived here, I had a clean slate. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, but I knew I didn’t want to continue my career in Clinical Informatics. I took on small projects that kept me busy, but I didn’t find myself passionate about them.
Truthfully, it wasn’t until I was carrying my third child that I began noticing how much I enjoyed transforming our house into a home. Nesting is a real thing! From that point, I took on DIY projects around the house that made me more acquainted with my style and aesthetic. Eventually, I was ready for my first major transformation; converting a creepy unfinished basement into a family haven. I’ve since designed numerous bathrooms, helped to remodel unfinished spaces, consulted for clients who simply needed direction, chosen furnishings for countless rooms, and assisted with complete renovations.
I’ve lived in Aspen, Colorado, the suburbs of North Texas, Northern California, and Santa Barbara, California, known as “The American Riviera”; only to say, these places truly inspire my design palette and are captured in my work. Now, as a permanent east coast resident, I have become extremely fond of the classic architecture and timeless styles it beholds. Being a nomad has allowed me to broaden my creativity, and I’m confident it will be something you will come to appreciate.
In my free time I enjoy hosting dinner for friends and family whether it be a special occasion or no occasion at all which is just as special.
I have four beautiful children, and super-man for a husband; all whom I love with every thread of my being and to God I fervently thank.

I am very eclectic but Tiesto is on the top of my playlist, I have a sailor's mouth, my celebrity crush is Adam Sandler, I'm a Pisces, I love brownies with walnuts, the toilet paper should hang over, Jerry Garcia was a genius, my favorite adult drink is a Bloody Mary, yes to marble, NSYNC rules, Love is my religion, my favorite destination is anywhere with warm weather and an ocean breeze, but my favorite place to be in this whole world is, my bed snuggled up as a family of 6.
Growing up, I was always an art kid. I loved anything and everything creative--drawing, painting, sculpture, sewing, graphic design, fashion design, interior design, industrial design. Sandwiched between marine biologist and fashion designer, I had dreamed of becoming an interior designer as a child. College brought me to New York City where I studied economics and art history, then I headed to law school. I found that law was not my passion and retired from the practice of law to raise my three children.
It was during this time when I rediscovered my love of design. While growing our family and making our family home, I found that not only did I want my home to look beautiful, I also wanted it to be functional, livable, and non-toxic for my family. This was much more difficult to do than I had anticipated. What was beautiful wasn't practical for a home with young children, and what was practical wasn't the aesthetic I dreamed of.
And then I met Anastasia! So here I am, rediscovering my love of design with the goal of bringing beautiful, practical, livable, and accessible design to the world. I am so grateful to be here, to be able to marry my love of design with efficiency and logistics, to build a brand that can bring more beauty and comfort into this world.
I currently reside in Bergen County, NJ with my husband and three beautiful children. I'm still an art kid and still constantly creating and designing. Everyday I am grateful for my family and this life, being able to do what I love.

Creating a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen is not only going to enhance productivity, it will lend years and years of tender memories made with the most important people in your life.
